When the sun sets, night shift Daddy eats dinner with his little girl, reads a story, and tucks her snugly into bed. When the sun rises, he comes home and shares her breakfast. Then it’s time for night shift Daddy to be tucked snugly into bed before his daughter goes out to play.
Eileen Spinelli’s own daddy worked the night shift many years ago. She remembers watching from her bedroom window as he walked to the bus stop in the moonlight. She is the author of many books for children, including When Mama Comes Home Tonight and Somebody Loves You, Mr. Hatch. Eileen lives in Willistown, Pennsylvania.
